How do I get to the cabin from Interstate 85?

Take Interstate 85 to the Wise/Norlina Exit for Rte 1/401 (#233).  From the exit follow Route 1 going South.  Make a left onto Wise–Five Forks Road (at Pay Jay’s Convenience Store). Make a left onto Nocarva Road.  Make your next left into the Timbuctu Subdivision.  Make a left onto Nutcracker Lane.

 

Where can I rent a boat on Lake Gaston?

There are several places on Lake Gaston that rent boats.  Here are some places and their phone numbers:

Where is the nearest public access boat ramp and how do I get there?

Salmons Landing Public Access Ramp: Follow the directions to Littleton (in directions around the lake)  when you get to Littleton make a left at the stoplight (there is only one) and follow 903 (you will have to make a right at Plant-it-Earth to follow 903) you will come to Salmons Landing and there will be signs to the public access ramp (it will be on your right).
